After winning the Asian Champions League but still searching for points in the A-League, Bridge says emotions are mixed.

It’s a weird feeling in the Wanderers camp at the moment because we are still on a high from the Asian Champions League, but we want to improve in the A-League, so it’s a very mixed bag of emotions right now.

I thought it was a good effort by the guys against Wellington last week and we were unlucky not to get a draw.

But on the bright side, some who hadn’t had much game time got some valuable minutes under their belt.

There is going to be a lot of chopping and changing I’m sure over the next six games before we go away again.

But that’s what is needed in the A-League, especially if you are playing in multiple competitions. You need the full depth of your squad.

The trip to face Perth Glory will be tough but we just need to do the basics.

Perth is on a high at the moment in the final of the FFA Cup and at the top of the table, but someone asked me if our season hinges on this game and I don’t think so.

It’s like being an attacker.

That first goal is always the hardest and the more weeks that go by, the more pressure builds up and you start doing things you wouldn’t usually do.

That’s what we have to be careful of as a team to get that first win.
