THE Western Sydney Wanderers' holiday soccer clinic has scored top reviews from participants.
Youngsters met their heroes and were put through their paces at the skills workshop at Cook Park in St Marys.
More than 36 junior players attended the advanced clinics.
A-League players Labinot Haliti, Tarek Elrich and Nikolai Topor-Stanley, along with Teigen Allen and Rachael Soutar from the W-League, taught the children important football skills.
Wanderers community pathway and football development manager Tim Thorne said the children loved meeting the players. "The feedback was fantastic due to the quality of the clinic," Thorne said.
The children were taught attacking, positioning, touch passes and running with the ball.
"We want to inspire everyone around, and support the community," Thorne said, adding that more girls attended the winter clinics than the summer ones.
"We are putting in the effort into getting girls into the clinics," Thorne said.
