TWO Glenmore Park teenagers are headed to the 2013 All Stars Youth Summit in Brisbane.
Identical twins Luke and Samuel Burke will rub shoulders with rugby league playmakers and All Stars team captains Johnathan Thurston and Benji Marshall at the event.
Penrith Panthers indigenous development manager Glen Liddiard said he selected the year 12 students after they excelled in the School to Work program.
"They stood out as the best and earned their spot," he said.
During the week-long summit aimed at Aborigines, Torres Strait Islanders and Maoris, students will undergo mentoring and life skills workshops with Indigenous All Stars and NRL All Stars players.
Samuel and Luke, both budding chefs, said they were excited to meet and learn from some of league's biggest stars.
"It's a big opportunity to meet people like Thurston. They are role models for so many people," Samuel said.
The pair will join Bidwill's Nakita Allen and Riverstone's Courtney Collyer at Suncorp Stadium before the match's kick-off on February 9.
The girls agreed they would be nervous, but hoped to gain plenty of confidence during the week
