Sydney celebrities in lockdown: How eastern suburbs stars are coping with Covid

What are Sydney’s famous faces doing while the rest of us are knee deep in home schooling, working from home and piling on the Covid kilos? Let’s just say, you’d be surprised.

Best Covid vaccination ads from around the world

Head to toe sequins, activewear worn as high fashion and run ins with the Covid police. It’s been a wild ride through lockdown for eastern suburbs celebrities.

JESSICA ROWE

Our favourite television presenter isn’t going to let a little thing like being housebound stifle her level of fabulousness.

The self-described “crap housewife” has been leaving her followers in stitches as she dresses to impress while homeschooling her daughters and whipping up dinner.

Aided and abetted by her daughters Allegra and Giselle and sneered at by her cat Daphne, the eastern suburbs favourite has been posting almost daily fashion updates.

We hope her hubby, Channel 9 newsreader Peter Overton, gets in on the dress up action soon.

TODD SAMPSON

Over in the wilds of Vaucluse, Gruen Transfer’s Todd Sampson seems to be feeling a tad nostalgic.

The Body Hack star posted this adorable throw back from his school days with the equally hilarious caption.

He even treated us to a rare photo of his beautiful girls Coco and Jet and his gorgeous wife Neomie.

ROXY JACENKO

The PR queen appears to be shaking things up on the hair front with her recognisable blonde do a distinctive shade of brown.

Meanwhile her children Hunter and Pixie are no doubt the envy of the neighbourhood going by the epic Nerf gun wall she has recently constructed for them.

The Vaucluse resident is at her wits end after being repeatedly visited by police at her Paddington office during lockdown.

The Sweaty Betty boss said the officers were acting on anonymous tip offs only to discover each time she hadn’t breached any rules.

LIFEGUARD HOPPO

What’s the man charged with keeping us all safe at Bondi to do during lockdown?

The Bondi Rescue star has no doubt been kept busy as people are still flocking to Australia’s most famous beach for what we hope is some socially distanced exercise.

He’s also been busily recording episodes of his podcast Life’s a Beach and recently wished a happy 19th birthday to his daughter Georgia.

PIP EDWARDS

We’re fairly certain there is no one in the east (or anywhere for that matter) that makes activewear look so good during lockdown.

Are you pulling on leggings with a slightly stained shirt and pairing it with an unwashed mum bun?

Wrong.

The P.E. Nation co-founder paired a Louis Vuitton belt with her glam activewear ensemble last week.

While we’re sure she’s itching to hit the gym, there are certainly no Covid kilos creeping on here.

TIM ROBARDS – THE BACHELOR

Our favourite bachie Tim Robards and his wife Anna Heinrich have been riding out lockdown in Rose Bay with their baby daughter Elle.

The chiropractor and inventor of the Robards Method has been posting plenty of tips for those wanting to stay fit and healthy at home.

Something tells us there won’t be a dad bod for Tim any time soon.

HAMISH BLAKE

Hamish Blake takes on the challenge of making his daughter Rudy's 4th birthday cake – a flying unicorn under a floating cloud – with wings that move, of course.

Builders might have had to down tools on the renovation of their new home in Vaucluse but that’s not to say construction has stopped entirely in the Foster Blake household.

The comedian assembled a truly terrifying “unicorn” cake in honour of his daughter Rudy’s fourth birthday last week.

The cake, which was made with virtual assistance of his Lego Masters co-stars, was hopefully not consumed by little Rudy given its questionable construction methods which Hamish detailed on his Instagram stories.

Meanwhile his wife Zoe Foster Blake, founder of Go To Skincare, has instead been whiling her way through lockdown in a much more traditional fashion – creating skincare tutorials.
