There’s not a lot Jack Grant likes to do more than play rugby with his mates, except work with them perhaps.
And this son of a former Wallaby and NRL player gets to do both.
The Eastern Suburbs speedster, who scored four tries in the final round of the Shute Shield regular season a fortnight ago, is gearing up for the clubs elimination final against Gordon on Sunday.

But away from the field, Grant and mate Clarrie Moore created the North Bondi Motorino social club, a lifestyle brand set up initially as a social club between friends who had just got bike licences.
Grant’s main role with the company is as creative director and clothing designer.

“I do it with a mate I met at Easts and it just started as a little thing,” he said.
“I made a few T-shirts and everyone liked them so we made some more.”
Grant grew up, in Orange and started his rugby career with the Orange City Lions before attending St Stanislavsky College in Bathurst.
The son of Wallaby and former Balmain Tigers player James Grant studied interior design before starting the company but still has aspirations of playing professional football.
“My goal is still to play as high as I can. I’d like to make the next level,” he said.
Earlier this year Grant was midway through a season in Japan playing in Osaka for NTT Docomo when coronavirus struck and he rushed home.
Now he’s part of a resurgent Eastern Suburbs side who have hit top form after a slow start to the season to be a contenders for the Shute Shield honours in 2020.
