Two people have been hospitalised after a multi-car crash in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Emergency services rushed to Avoca St, Randwick, near Eulalie Ave, following a crash at about 11.10am.
The police said a vehicle had steered off course, mounting the kerb, and subsequently collided with a pedestrian before sideswiping another vehicle and crashing into a tree.
A 30-year-old woman, severely impacted by the collision, received immediate medical attention from NSW paramedics on site.
She was later transported to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Additionally, a 44-year-old man was also treated at the scene and later taken to St Vincent’s Hospital for further medical evaluation.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident’s circumstances.
