The son of former Liberal leader Kerry Chikarovski will soon learn his fate in court after admitting to supplying illegal drugs on the dark web under the alias ‘AusCokeKing’.

Mark Chikarovski, 38, was committed for sentence in the district court after pleading guilty to commercial drug supply, indictable drug supply, and dealing with the proceeds of crime at Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday.

Three counts of indictable drug supply and one count of drug possession will be taken into account during sentencing.

Agreed facts tendered to court revealed Strike Force CESTA was established by NSW Police to investigate the online darknet vendor handle ‘AusCokeKing’.

The handle was operating on various darknet markets and since at least February 2023, Chikarovski was its sole user.

During that time, Chikarovski used the handle to sell MDMA, cocaine, meth and prescription drugs via the darknet marketplace – Abacus Market and he would use the Australian Postal system to distribute.

Orders were transacted with the exchange of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Etherium and Monero.

A Cybercrime Squad Covert Operative, using the name ‘Joshua’, was authorised to make a series of controlled purchases of illegal drugs with ‘AusCokeKing’ from February 6 until May 16 last year and included 18 total transactions.

According to agreed facts, ‘Joshua’ would buy cryptocurrency and make an order with ‘AusCokeKing’, purchasing “premium European imported MDMA”, “premium grade cocaine” and “premium imported meth” which were noted as being open for a “limited time only”.

After receiving the orders, Chikarovski would usually drive in a Porsche Cayenne and drop the drugs off in a package at various express post boxes throughout Sydney’s eastern suburbs, including Bondi Junction, Rose Bay and Double Bay.

Some of the packages included a sticker thanking the buyer and asking them to leave “5 star feedback”.

Throughout the months of transactions, ‘Joshua’ had conversations with Chikarovski about some of the purchases made and on one occasion he was told “u r one of my best customers on here”.

Before his arrest on May 18, 2023, Chikarovski was found in the master bedroom of his Meriton Apartment in Bondi Junction with police seizing various drugs and “61 items of interest”.

Police also managed to access his laptop and found numerous tabs open which were logged into the username ‘AusCokeKing’.

Agreed facts state during the period of February 6 to May 18, 2023, Chikarovski supplied or possessed for the purposes of supply, 209.06 grams of MDMA, 167.4 grams of cocaine, 44.05 grams of meth, 135.38 grams of ketamine, and 300 tablets – approximately 60.075 grams – of dexamphetamine.

Police found $134,982.12 worth of cryptocurrency, broken up between Bitcoin, Ethereum and Pepe on his computer devices.

Ahead of Chikarovski’s sentence, the matter is set for mention on July 19 in the NSW District Court.
