A French expat turned penis waffle purveyor was busted supplying cocaine, ketamine and cannabis while her inner Sydney sexy dessert cafe was closed due to the 2021 Covid-19 lockdown.

Lola Chiche, 31, was charged with one count of prohibited drug supply, three counts of knowingly participating in drug supply and dealing with property crime proceeds after she was dramatically arrested in September 2021.

The charges pertain to 443.8g of cannabis, 15g of ketamine and six grams of cocaine which Chiche supplied in Sydney’s inner suburbs between September 10 and September 15 last year.

The French national is the co-owner of MyKiki, a Surry Hills erotic dessert cafe specialising in waffles shaped like penises and vulvas.

Police nabbed Chiche after seeing her idling in a no parking zone in Surry Hills on September 15, before a passenger jumped in, then jumped out metres down the road with a Coles shopping bag in hand.

“This type of behaviour is indicative of a drug transaction,” agreed police facts state.

When officers stopped the male passenger, they discovered 454g of cannabis in the bag.

Chiche subsequently had her vehicle searched, with police locating a total of $16,000 in a small toiletry bag, along with two mobile phones.

“Access (to the phones) was gained, where an overwhelming amount of texts consistent with drug supply were located in the app Wikr,” agreed police facts state.

“She indicated the money belonged to her and was the proceeds of selling a jetski some weeks earlier.”

Investigators subsequently executed a search warrant at her Alexandria address, finding up to $15,000 in Australian currency and several amounts of white-powdered substances.

Further to this, a large volume of clear, reusable bags and scales were located in the premise.

Chiche declined to be interviewed but consented to a forensic procedure and undertook her own mouth swab.

The French expat made a tearful appearance at Downing Centre Local Court on August 24, where she pleaded guilty to all five offences.

Magistrate Lisa Stapleton said this was prevalent and serious offending, after the court heard Chiche had started smoking cannabis daily during the Covid-19 lockdown to cope.

“I don’t know how many cases I’ve heard of this, where people who were under pressure during the lockdown thought the way forward was to supply prohibited drugs to others,” Ms Stapleton said.

“It may be explained by your circumstances but it is not excusable – she had what could be described as three different kinds of drugs.”

Chiche narrowly avoided jail, with Ms Stapleton sentencing her to a 16-month intensive corrections order for the five offences.

The erotic baker’s drug dealing resulted in her being caught out for a years-old crime, after officers linked DNA taken from her in the drug investigation to a prior theft offence.

Chiche was additionally charged with larceny after her DNA was linked to a pair of ballet flats left behind in the 2017 theft of two pairs of Alexander Wang boots from David Jones at Westfield Bondi Junction.

Agreed police facts state Chiche and another woman attended a David Jones store at Westfield Bondi Junction to try on two pairs of Alexander Wang boots amounting to the value of $1099 each.

Chiche and the woman ran from the store without attempting to pay for the shoes, with security locating a gold pair of H&M flats along with a snakeskin pair.

A DNA tape lift taken from the gold flats in 2017 then pinged when Chiche’s DNA was entered into the system following her drug supply arrest.

Police reviewed the CCTV of the incident, confirming it was Chiche who stole the shoes.

Chiche pleaded guilty to larceny, was convicted and will be required to compensate David Jones for the stolen Alexander Wang boots.

Chiche featured in The Daily Telegraph earlier this year promoting her genital-shaped waffles for her new business MyKiki.
