Extraordinary footage from inside Bondi Icebergs has captured a wild brawl between two young cleaners and a frenzied man.

A shocking brawl caught on CCTV reveals the moment a wanted man broke into Bondi Icebergs Club and was confronted by two cleaners who bravely fought him off.

Isiah Campbell, 20, broke into the popular venue during the early hours of November 27 last year alongside another unidentified man, the court heard.

Campbell was wanted by police at the time for breaching bail conditions over another serious incident, a home invasion in Wollongong.

The attempted theft at Bondi Icebergs turned ugly when two contracted cleaners spotted Campbell inside the club.

The agreed facts stated Campbell ran toward one of the cleaners and punched him in the face before a wild brawl broke out as the male cleaners tried to defend themselves and fight him off.

The fight caught on CCTV footage, and shown in court, showed chairs and poles being used and multiple punches being thrown.

Campbell eventually ran off and robbed another man outside the club of a phone and backpack.

The agreed facts stated Campbell punched and threatened the man outside stating “if you tell anyone about this I’m going to hunt you down, kill your wife, your daughter and you”.

Campbell left behind a mask and cap which matched his DNA and led to police charging him.

Police arrested him in December last year and he was charged with robbery and aggravated enter dwelling in company with intent to steal.

Campbell, who is now in custody, appeared in Downing Centre District Court last week for his sentence hearing.

He is being sentenced over the Bondi incident and a frightening home invasion in Coledale, Wollongong dating back to December 2018.

He has pleaded guilty to all four charges relating to both incidents.

The court heard that in December 2018, Campbell terrorised a family after he broke into their home during the middle of the night and held a knife to one of the occupants, who woke to find him standing inside her room.

The court heard a family member managed to call police from a separate room during the ordeal and Campbell was arrested nearby. Remarkably, no-one was injured in the home invasion.

He was granted bail in April 2019 for that offence and committed the crimes at Bondi a few months later.

Campbell told the court last week that he had lost his accommodation in Minto while out on bail in 2019 and was basically homeless.

“I just started taking a lot of drugs, methamphetamines, and was homeless for a bit and was just staying at people’s houses and started committing crimes to feed myself and give myself clothes and (buy drugs) as well.”

Judge Stephen Norrish will hand down his judgment on November 27.
