Inside Sydney’s prestige homes: What you can buy with more than $20 million

THESE mega mansions are the crème de la crème of properties with prices spanning from $20 million to $100 million. Take a look inside some of the most expensive Sydney homes currently on the market.

A BOOM in prestige property sales is tipped to take place between now and Christmas, with a number of $20 million plus properties having languished on the market in 2016, despite strong demand, perfect selling conditions and a record-breaking 2015 for the top end.

Brad Pillinger of Pillinger says that while 2016 has not been as strong so far as last year, he expects this to have changed come December, when a backlog of quality listings sure to be snapped up.

“Some of the great listings that are on now and are coming now have corrected to higher price points. Quite a number will sell between now and Christmas,” Mr Pillinger said.

“We’ve had an unprecedented market in the middle and lower end for two years, we had a phenomenal year at the top end last year and the reality is,”

“At the end of this year [listings] will fall in quick succession. The end result for this year will be better than last year,” he said.

Here are some of the $20 million-plus listings that have hit the market this year as well as a few that have remained on the market since 2013.
