The wild ride continued in AFL SuperCoach Local in Round 5 with many new faces battling their way into the Top 10 as past leaders fell around them.

Just 40 players out of 82 SuperCoach Local competitions kept their heads and held on to their lead while 19 others were bundled out of their local Top 10 all together.

The Welsh Dragons was one of those holding strong in the Wentworth Courier campaign

Supercoach player Neil of The Welsh Dragons sits at 11,351 points and is ranked 135th nationally, 264 points behind the Supercoach leader Ryder2Gray from Brisbane.

The fastest-rising local team this week was Pineapple kreuzers which scored 2271 and jumped 19,999 spots nationally and is now ranked 45,904th.

There are 360 AFL SuperCoach teams in the Wentworth Courier’s competition.

A total of 271 SuperCoach points separate first position and tenth position.

The median score for all teams nationally is 8056.
