There is a similar chance of showers Sunday when the Bureau of Meteorology forecasts a very high (90 per cent) chance of rain.
The UV index is predicted to be 3. There is a moderate risk of harm from sun exposure. Experts suggest covering up, using sunscreen outside and avoiding the sun around noon.
Winds will be southeast around 25 km/h in the morning increasing to southeast around 35 km/h in the afternoon.
