“These awards are just one way that council supports our businesses as they recognise not just the ‘best’ but also the ‘brightest’ businesses that make our community so great.

“I look forward to celebrating with all the businesses that make Waverley great at the awards dinner in November.”

The Brightest & Best Business Awards recognise the importance of a sustainable business community that is vibrant and robust and supports the creation of jobs and new opportunities.

Judges look for businesses demonstrating exceptional business standards — their customers are looked after, they show creativity and innovation and their business is presented in an exciting and interesting way.

For example, The Dental Spa, which won the Medical Services Award, demonstrated stylish interior endearing to the customer, and expert staff demonstrating professionalism.
