A managing director at one Australia’s largest real estate companies was busted driving in Sydney’s affluent east while allegedly three times over the limit and with cocaine in his system.

Bronte man Marcello Bo, 58, faced Waverley Local Court on Tuesday when he pleaded guilty to one count of driving with a mid-range PCA while having an illicit drug present in his system.

Bo is a partner and managing director at Ray White Projects where he is considered an elite performer.

He was pulled over in his Range Rover at Macpherson St, Bronte, on December 28 just after 8.30pm.

Police stopped Bo and recorded a positive breath test.

A court attendance notice states Bo recorded a reading of 0.144, which is just below the threshold for high range drink driving being 0.15.

At the same time, he allegedly had cocaine present in his oral fluid, court documents reveal.

On Tuesday the court heard that while Bo admitted to the offence, the facts being put forward by police were “not entirely agreed upon yet” and some “minor adjustments” were being sought.

Bo was granted a five week adjournment and will return to court on March 18.
