Junee death: Police investigate scene after man’s body found on Junction St, near supermarket

Riverina police are probing the mysterious death of a man after his body was discovered near a supermarket.

An investigation has been sparked after a man’s body was found near a supermarket at Junee.

Police made the grim discovery along Junction St about 10am on Sunday following reports about his welfare.

A crime scene was established and was examined by forensic police.

The body has not been formally identified however, was believed to be a man in his 40s.

The death was not being treated as suspicious.

Investigations were continuing into the incident, with a report to be made to the Coroner.
