Warmer conditions are expected on four of the next six days, with the mercury climbing above today's maximum on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Showers are more likely on Monday when the Bureau of Meteorology forecasts a medium (40 per cent) chance of rain.

The UV index is predicted to be 3. There is a moderate risk of harm from sun exposure. Experts suggest covering up, using sunscreen outside and avoiding the sun around noon.

Winds will be east around 14 km/h in the morning shifting to east-northeast around 11 km/h in the afternoon.
