Rebecca Marie Davies: North Albury woman on 102 charges after drug raid

Police will allege a North Albury woman was trying to get rid of meth when officers walked through her front door. She is now facing more than 100 criminal charges.

An Albury woman has been charged with more than 100 criminal offences, after police allegedly caught her trying to rid of the drug ice when they walked through her door.

Murray River police formed Strike Force Adige to investigate local drug supply last year.

Detectives from Strike Force Adige, set up to investigate local drug supply last year, searched a Koonawarra Street in North Albury about 9.50am on Thursday.

When police entered the home, they allege Rebecca Marie Davies, 27, was attempting to dispose of an amount of methylamphetamine.

She was arrested and taken to Albury Police Station.

When police searched the home, they allegedly found 40 grams of methylamphetamine, $42,000 cash and items used in drug-related activities.

They seized mobile phones and a computer for further examination.

Another search warrant was executed at a storage shed in Catherine Cres, Lavington, where police allegedly found 223 grams of cannabis and stolen property.

During this investigation, police also discovered Ms Davies had allegedly offered another woman money to withdraw her complaint over a domestic violence matter.

Police will also allege Ms Davies tried to organise to have a man assaulted at the request of her associates.

She has been charged with 102 offences, including owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises (x1), permit another attempt/administer prohibited drug to self (x1), knowingly direct activities of criminal group (x1), recruit other to assist in carrying out criminal activity (x1), act w/i to influence witness to procure acquittal (x1), deal with property proceeds of crime indictable & small &

Ms Davies was formally refused bail and the matter was adjourned to a later date.
