Tradies beware: thieves continue to target tools in The Hills

TRADE power tools and hand tools were stolen from a Ford Falcon table top vehicle on Comet Circuit between 8.30pm last Friday and 6am the next morning in Beaumont Hills. The thieves were able to force the locks on the vehicle.

1 BEAUMONT HILLS Trade power tools and hand tools were stolen from a Ford Falcon table top vehicle on Comet Circuit between 8.30pm last Friday and 6am the next morning. The thieves were able to force the locks on the vehicle.

2 ROUSE HILL Number plates were stolen from a grey Subaru sedan parked on Sanctuary Drive between 5pm on Thursday last week and 7.20pm the next day.

3 KELLYVILLE Power tools were stolen from a toolbox on the back of a vehicle in Arnold Ave between 3am and 7.15am last Saturday morning. Police said thieves broke the locks to get into the toolbox, and are appealing for anyone who might have seen a dark blue car pulling a trailer, spotted in the nearby vicinity.

4 KELLYVILLE An incident of malicious damage in Wildrose St was reported to police. Between 6pm and 9.30pm on Tuesday last week, a driver’s side mirror was broken off a bronze Lexus car.

5 ROUSE HILL The front and rear number plates of a vehicle in Adelphi St were stolen between the hours of 5pm Monday last week and 7.30am the following morning.

6 SCHOFIELDS At 3.40am on Tuesday last week fire crews from Riverstone were called to a car alight in Lambeth St. They discovered the interior of the car on fire and used foam to tackle a glowing magnesium fire, with minimal damage caused to the vehicle.

7 KELLYVILLE Tools to the value of $150 were stolen from the back of a Hino van parked in Lucas Circuit between the hours of 5.30pm last Friday and 7am the next morning.

8 KELLYVILLE Vandals let down a tyre and smashed a windscreen wiper on a Toyota 4WD parked on Braemar Ave between the hours of 8pm last Friday and 7pm the next day.

9KELLYVILLE Patrolling police discovered a car containing four males and a female, parked on Wrights Rd at 12.20am last Saturday. Officers detected the smell of cannabis and 4 grams of the drug were discovered. Two people admitted ownership, a 20-year-old female from Oatlands and a 20-year-old male from Kellyville and as a result, police issued both of them with cautions.

10 KELLYVILLE At 9.15pm last Saturday evening police stopped a vehicle on Green Rd and after a search, found a small amount of cannabis inside. A 23-year-old Penrith man was given a caution.

11 KELLYVILLE Number plates were stolen from a Toyota Corolla vehicle on Samantha Riley Drive between 3pm Saturday last week and 7.30am on the Monday morning.

12 QUAKERS HILL A 26-year-old man from Quakers Hill was robbed while on the phone at 2am last Saturday night. The man had just left a taxi on Pye Rd and was speaking on his mobile to a friend when he was approached from behind by an unknown male armed with an unknown weapon and pushed to the ground. The assailant demanded his wallet and phone and ran off. Detectives from Quakers Hill are investigating the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area to contact Crime Stoppers.

13 QUAKERS HILL At 7.30am last Saturday, November 7, police were called to a parking complaint about a semi-trailer on the Quakers Hill Parkway. Police spoke to a man inside the truck and after inquiries, searched the vehicle and discovered 14.1gm of methamphetamine (ice) inside the driver’s compartment. A 41-year-old man from St Clair was arrested and charged with possess prohibited drug and supplying a prohibited drug, and will appear at Penrith Court on 13 November.

14 KELLYVILLE: Paramedics were called to a Kellyville home just after a storm passed through on November 1 when a man fell 8m from his ceiling while attempting to repair a leak. According to a report the 47-year-old man had fallen through plasterboard. He was treated at the scene and then taken by intensive care paramedics to Westmead Hospital with multiple rib fractures and abdominal injuries.
