Wagga man Andrew Ross Clark in court accused of importing child-like sex doll from China
A man has appeared in court for the first time after the Australian Border Force intercepted a child-like sex doll destined for his address.

A man accused of importing a child-like sex doll from China and having child abuse material on his computer has fronted court for the first time.
Andrew Ross Clark, 59, appeared in Wagga Local Court today charged with intentionally importing a prohibited tier-two good without approval and possessing child abuse material.
The Mount Austin man has not entered pleas to the charges.
The package containing the doll was intercepted by the Australian Border Force in Sydney in November last year.
Following investigations, police also seized and analysed computer devices from Mr Clark’s home on December 18 before arresting him on January 23.
In court today, Mr Clark applied for adjournment to seek legal help.
This bail conditions were also varied. As part of the new conditions, magistrate Christopher Halburd ordered Mr Clark to surrender his passport within 48 hours and to not to enter any international point of departure.
He was also ordered to not apply for a new passport.
The doll is legally considered to be child exploitation material and the offence is punishable by up to 15 years’ jail.
Mr Clark was also in court for possessing or using a prohibited weapon without permit to which he has not pleaded.
He is scheduled to front court again on February 26.
