Wagga 2650: Coronavirus cases remain stable across Murrumbidgee Local Health District
Health officials have confirmed there have been no new cases across the local health district since March 11 - with patients in five local government areas now recovered.

There have been no additional cases of the coronavirus in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District since Saturday.
Confirmed cases remain at 44 with 25 patients recovered. The number of people tested has now reached 2528 with one death.
Greater Hume, Griffith, Hay, Murrumbidgee and the Snowy Valleys now have no cases of the virus following recoveries.
NSW has recorded only seven new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours bringing the state total to 2870.
It comes as the premier announced a new same-day testing service.
Those who test negative for COVID-19 will be notified via text message on the same day they are tested.
Currently it can take up to a week for doctors to notify patients if they are negative.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian said the same-day SMS will be “a huge relief for you and your family”.
Customer Service Minister Victor Dominello said 98 per cent of people tested for COVID-19 are found to not have the virus.
The death toll in NSW remains unchanged at 26 while the number of national confirmed cases of the virus stands at 6366.
Anyone who believes they have may have contracted the COVID-19 virus (i.e. who are returned travellers, or who have come in contact with a confirmed case and are showing symptoms: fever, sore throat, dry cough and shortness of breath) are advised in the first instance to:
- Call the coronavirus hotline on 1800 020 080 and receive advice about the best course of action depending on symptoms and risks.
- Contact your GP to arrange an appointment (let GP practice know in advance if you have symptoms).
- Call the Murrumbidgee COVID-19 Hotline on 1800 831 099 for assessment
