Worrigee: Police appealing for information following public place shooting

Police are appealing for information after a woman found bullet holes in a window of her south coast home. It is now believed the shooting occurred four days before the discovery. Here is what we know.

Police are appealing for information following a public place shooting on the NSW south coast.

Officers were called to a home on Golden Ash Cl, Worrigee, after a woman found multiple bullet holes in a window on Sunday.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Following inquiries, police established the incident took place about 2.40am on Wednesday, July 24.

It’s believed no one was home at the time of the incident.

Police are appealing for information to identify a vehicle seen near the property at the time, as well as the driver and any possible passengers who they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.
