Two-vehicle crash shuts Princes Hwy in Narooma
An elderly woman has died and the Princes Hwy has been closed following a two-vehicle crash in a south coast town.

An elderly woman has died and a man has been flown to Canberra Hospital following a two-vehicle crash in a south coast town.
A police spokesperson said a sedan and a van towing a trailer collided in the southbound lane on the Princes Hwy running through Narooma.
The Princes Hwy near Bowen St running through Narooma has closed in both directions, following the incident.
The police spokesperson said the elderly woman who was driving the sedan was trapped in the vehicle for a short time, and eventually being freed. Paramedics tended to the woman, however she died at the scene.

The male driver of the van was flown to Canberra Hospital with minor injuries.
Diversions are in place along the highway, with traffic being diverted through Bluewater Dr, Ballingalla St, Clarke St to re-join the Princes Hwy.
This diversion is suitable for light vehicles only and heavy vehicles are being parked.
