A new privately owned apartment complex is being built in Ulladulla off the highway.
‘Peniche Apartments’ will be a four-storey building on Buchan Street featuring eight “luxury boutique units”, according to McGrath Estate Agents Ulladulla realtor, Brendan Shipp.
“This is the first building of its kind in the Mollymook and Ulladulla area,” he said.
“There will be four stories and two luxury units per floor.”
Apartments are currently in an expressions of interest phase, however Mr Shipp expects the units to sell for around $1.85 million.
“We’ve had a lot of interest and a lot of inquiries,” he said.
Currently, there is no close date for expressions of interest, however prices will be finalised with the development application is formalised.
“The building is going to be built, we are just waiting for the DA to be formalised which should be within the next month,” Mr Shipp said.
The building has been designed with “luxurious interiors”, and each half floor residence will feature a separate full sized office, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and either ocean views or the privacy among trees with direct access to the pool, according to the McGrath Estate Agents website.
Each unit will also come with two secure underground parking spaces.
According to Mr Shipp, designer bathrooms will feature natural stone bench tops, timber cabinetry, quality European tapware and ‘Ukiyo’ style baths.
“All common areas, lifts and pool will be powered by rooftop solar with battery storage,” he said.
Construction on the new apartment block is expected to be complete by mid-2024.
