A NSW south coast man who allegedly distributed an intimate image of a woman without her consent has appeared in court.
Paul Meagher, 63, faced Nowra Local Court on Tuesday, pleading not guilty to one charge of intentionally distribute an intimate image without consent.
Police allege the Worrigee man distributed the intimate image of a woman between 1pm and 1.30pm on June 23 this year.
The court did not hear what the alleged image contained or how it was distributed.
Following a six day investigation, Nowra police arrested the 63-year-old in his Worrigee home on June 29 at 2.50pm.
He was later charged with the offence before being granted conditional bail.
In Nowra Local Court on Tuesday, Meagher’s lawyer, Brett Ford, entered the not guilty plea on his client’s behalf.
Mr Ford asked the court to adjourn the matter for a hearing, which he expected to last two to three hours.
The request was not opposed by Magistrate Lisa Viney, who adjourned the matter.
Meagher will return to the court on November 15.
