NSW Police uncover major cigarette, vape haul in Nowra traffic stop
A massive vape and cigarette syndicate has been smashed by police, after they allegedly uncovered more than $100,000 worth of the illicit items during a traffic stop on the NSW South Coast.

A routine traffic stop on the NSW South Coast has unearthed a mega illegal vape and cigarette syndicate, with police uncovering and seizing a staggering $100,000 worth of illicit items.
The mega bust by police occurred about 10.30am Tuesday, after officers patrolling Junction St and O’Connell Ln, Nowra pulled over a Ford Ranger during a routine road stop.
Police searched the vehicle, allegedly uncovering 60,700 cigarettes, 70 vapes, 15kg of loose tobacco leaf and $3145 cash.
NSW Police revealed the finds had an estimated street value of more than $108,000.
The 34-year-old male driver was arrested at the scene and taken to Nowra Police Station, where he was charged with goods in custody.
The man was granted conditional bail and will appear in Nowra Local Court on Tuesday, May 6.
