Nowra: Homicide squad assisting in investigation after man’s body found in home on Quickmatch St

The homicide squad has been called in to assist local detectives after a man’s body was found inside a south coast home. Here is what we know.

The homicide squad has been called in to assist local detectives after a man’s body was found inside a south coast home.

South Coast police were called to the home on Quickmatch St, Nowra, about 11am on Thursday.

The body of a man in his 50s, was found by a neighbour.

A crime scene has been established as forensic experts scour the scene for clues and a canvass of the area has been conducted.

Police said South Coast detectives were being assisted by he State Crime Command’s homicide squad.

As the investigation continues, detectives have appealed for anyone with information to contact South Coast police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
