Milton: 67-year-old charged following horror crash in Yatte Yattah
A man has been hit with a litany of charges after an alleged drunken crash on the NSW south coast resulted in a car flipping.

A man has been charged with a litany of offences months after an alleged drunken, horror crash left him with “serious” injuries on the NSW south coast.
Emergency services were called Princes Hwy at Yatte Yattah – north of Milton – about 8:20pm on Friday, September 29 last year, following reports a Mazda 3 and a Jeep Wrangler, towing a caravan, collided head on.
The crash, which occurred on the busy section of road, resulted in the Jeep rolling over.
The Mazda driver – a 67-year-old man – suffered serious injuries and was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene.
He was shortly after flown to the St George Hospital, where he underwent mandatory testing.
The Jeep driver – a 43-year-old man, was also taken to the Shoalhaven Hospital to be treated for injuries to his foot.
A 33-year-old female passenger of the flipped Jeep escaped without injuries.
Officers from the Southern Regional Crash Investigation Unit commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident and following extensive inquiries, arrested the 67-year-old man on Thursday, February 22.
He was charged with aggravated dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm – drive manner dangerous, cause bodily harm by misconduct, in charge of motor vehicle, negligent driving (occasions grievous bodily harm), and high range drink driving.
His licence was also suspended.
The man was granted conditional bail and will appear in the Milton Local Court on Thursday, March 21.
