Vietnamese National allegedly behind sophisticated hydroponic cannabis set-up in Singleton
Following an investigation by Hunter Valley Police, more than 250 cannabis plants were seized in a sophisticated set-up at Hunterview. A Vietnamese National has been charged.

A Vietnamese National has allegedly been behind a sophisticated hydroponic cannabis set-up in the Hunter Valley.
Just before 5.30pm on Wednesday, police seized 258 cannabis plants at a home on Dimmock St, Hunterview in Singleton.
A 28-year-old man was also arrested during the search and taken to Singleton Police Station where he was charged with knowingly take part-cultivate a large quantity of cannabis, cultivate a prohibited plant, alter electricity installation for metering and enhanced indoor cultivation plant for commercial purpose.
His arrested followed an investigation by Hunter Valley Police into the alleged cultivation of cannabis in the region.
Police have remained at the property on Thursday morning where they are processing and dismantling the set-up.
The Vietnamese National was bail refused to appear at Singleton Local Court on Thursday.
