Two men charged in relation to alleged drug ring after Strike Force Pallamana raid in Hunter Valley

Two men have been charged over a drug ring which allegedly supplied MDMA and cocaine across the Hunter Valley for at least four months.
Strike Force Pallamana detectives, along with Strike Force Raptor North officers, swooped on properties at Elermore Vale and Macquarie Hills Thursday morning.
Police allegedly seized 28 grams (an ounce) of MDMA, steroids, $15,000 in cash, mobile phones, documents and other items.
Kynan Mark Maffesoni, 24, and Alex Michael Theris, 28, were arrested and later charged at Waratah police station.
Maffesoni from Macquarie Hills was charged with 32 offences, including nine counts of supplying a prohibited drug (between indictable and commercial quantity), 20 counts of supplying a prohibited drug (between small and indictable quantity), two counts of supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.
Police allege he was involved in the supply of 37g of MDMA and 35.5g of cocaine on several occasions between November and last month.
He was bail refused to appear at Newcastle Local Court next week.
Theris from Elermore Vale was charged with two counts of supply a prohibited drug (between indictable and commercial quantity), three counts of supplying a prohibited drug (between small and indictable quantity) and supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis.
Police allege he was involved in the supply of 27.5g of cocaine between November and last month.
He was granted conditional bail in Newcastle Local Court on Friday, his matter adjourned until April.
Investigations under Strike Force Pallamana are continuing.
