Just seven days after winning her first world championship crown, Newcastle paratriathlete Lauren Parker has won gold in her last major international race of the year.
Parker and Kate Doughty made it a golden day for Australia, winning their individual races at the Banyoles Paratriathlon World Cup in Spain.
SUCCESS: Lauren Parker on top of the world
Parker led home an Aussie one-two in her class, beating teammate and Canberra triathlete Emily Tapp for the major honours.
Doughty also raced onto the top step of the dies for her second World Cup win of the year.
The Victorian also lead home an Aussie one-two with Sally Pilbeam taking the silver in the PTS4 class.
Fellow Australian Nic Beveridge added to the haul with a bronze in his class.
