Tomago: Man dead after car crash at Port Stephens
Authorities are set to look into the circumstances surrounding a crash, where a man was killed after his vehicle collided with a tree in Port Stephens.

The Crash Investigation Unit will look into the circumstances surrounding a crash, where a man was killed after his vehicle collided with a tree in Port Stephens on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to Tomago Rd, Tomago at about 12.40pm following reports a Mitsubishi ASX had crashed into a tree after colliding with an Izuzu D-Max.
A 75-year-old man, who was the driver of the Mitsubishi, died at the scene.
The 32-year-old driver of the Izuzu sustained internal injuries and was airlifted to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Passengers in the Izuzu, two women aged 66 and 26 and a two-year-old boy suffered minor injuries and were taken to John Hunter Hospital for treatment.
Police are appealing for any witnesses in the area to come forward or those who may have dashcam vision.
