Douglas Dixon, Khloe Stace: Maitland couple face additional sexual assault charges
Additional charges have been laid, including the serious charge of aggravated sexual assault in company, against a Maitland couple who allegedly kidnapped and raped a woman in a two day ordeal.

A Maitland couple accused of kidnapping, raping and holding a woman captive for two days over a drug debt are facing additional charges of sexual assault.
Khloe Stace, 21, and Douglas Dixon, 30, allegedly kidnapped the 28-year-old on April 13 this year when she failed to repay a $750 drug debt she had racked up while waiting for a coronavirus stimulus package payment.
Police allege the couple locked her inside a bedroom at Dixon’s home in Telarah where they drugged and sexually assaulted her and kept a rope tied to another door to prevent her from escaping.
The woman was able to yell for help out of the window of the room and communicate with people outside who then called police.
The alleged victim — who was rushed to John Hunter Hospital — suffered a fractured eye socket, punctured lung and extensive bruising.
The pair have had numerous appearances in Newcastle Local Court since their arrest in April but recently had a number of new charges added to the list.
Dixon was charged with aggravated sexual assault in company, take/detain in company with intent to get advantage occasion actual bodily harm - which is set to be withdrawn - and two counts of supply prohibited drug - one of which is also set to be withdrawn.
Added are another take/detain in company charge, two counts of aggravated sexual assault in company and an attempted aggravated sexual assault in company.
For Stace, her original charges included aggravated sexual assault in company, take/detain with intent to obtain advantage, take/detain in company and possess prohibited drug.
Added charges include assault occasioning actual bodily harm, another take/detain in company, two counts of aggravated sexual assault in company and one of attempted aggravated sexual assault in company and a goods in custody suspected stolen charge.
Dixon has had two failed attempts at bail, one in the supreme court in June, while Stace was refused bail on June 18.
Both are back in court in September.
