Barnsely: Teen charged with assault after house party in Lake Macquarie

A teenager is alleged to have returned to a Barnsley house where he had earlier partied and assaulted another youth in a violent home invasion.
Lake Macquarie police were called to a Codrington St home about 12.40am on Sunday after reports a man had been assaulted during a home invasion.
Police said they had been told two males, known to the occupants, had been at the home earlier in the evening for a party.
They had left following an altercation with a 17-year-old youth.
Police allege the two males returned to the house twice and assaulted the teen before fleeing in a vehicle.
Detectives arrested a 17-year-old youth at an Edgeworth home on Sunday afternoon and charged him with aggravated enter dwelling with intent – in company, and aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before court on December 15.
