The ladies frocked up and the men scrubbed up at the AFL Hunter Central Coast 2019 Elliott Davey Medal presentation on Wednesday night.

Off the field and into the spotlight, it was a night of glamour at the AFL Hunter Central Coast 2019 Elliott Davey medal on Wednesday night.

Players, coaches and supporters from teams across Newcastle and the Central Coast arrived in style at the end of year presentation, just a few days out from all grand finals.

In a thrilling night of awards, Andrew Scott from the Singleton Roosters polled the most votes to take out the prestigious Elliott Davey medal, one vote ahead of Chris Bishop from the Terrigal Avoca Panthers.

In the women’s best and fairest award, Wallsend West Newcastle’s Kate Booth polled three votes in the last round to tie with Wyong Lakes Rebecca Ives, who polled two in the same match.

In the Granland Medal, awarded to the best and fairest player in the Men’s plate competition, it was Dane Amidy from Killarney Vale, recording 23 votes to finish six clear of Jacob Connor from Muswellbrook.

Club of the Year went to Killarney Vale Bombers.
