A man and woman have been placed on drug and booze bans as part of strict bail conditions after police allegedly found an array of drugs and cash during an overnight traffic stop on a suburban Lake Macquarie street.

Zach McCurday, 30, and Marley Lea Therese Earley, 27, were arrested after police stopped their white Toyota Camry wuding patrols around Alliance Ave at Morisset about 1am on Friday.

Police allege McCurday was driving the car while disqualified.

“Police will allege that a search of the vehicle uncovered half-a-litre worth of liquid methamphetamine, crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, cannabis and a moderate amount of cash,” Lake Macquarie police said in a social media post.

The pair, both from the Central Coast, were taken to Toronto police station.

McCurday was charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug and disqualified driving.

Earley was charged with one count each of supplying a prohibited drug, recklessly dealing in the proceeds of crime, possessing a prohibited drug and custody of a knife in a public place.

Both appeared in Toronto Local Court on Friday and successfully made release applications.

Neither have been required to enter any pleas.

Magistrate Peter Barnett, SC, placed a number of bail conditions on the pair, including that they do not associate or contact each other.

They must also abide by a curfew and not consume alcohol or drugs.

The pair will reappear in court on October 22.
