A woman, aged in her 90s, has needed medical treatment after being pushed over during an alleged aggravated break and enter in a Newcastle suburb. A woman, 46, has now been charged.

A woman already on bail is alleged to have pushed an elderly woman to the ground during a frightening late-night break and enter in suburban Newcastle.
Emergency services were called to Denison St at Hamilton about 10.30pm on January 31 following reports the elderly resident had been assaulted during a burglary.
Police were told the 92-year-old woman was in a bedroom when a woman allegedly entered through a window and pushed the resident, causing her to fall.
The intruder is alleged to have stolen cash, purses and several cards before fleeing the property.
Paramedics treated the woman for minor cuts and a shoulder injury.
Newcastle City police arrested a 46-year-old woman at Waratah police station the following afternoon and she was charged with aggravated break and enter with intent and breach of bail.
Wendy Gaye Smith faced Newcastle Local Court on Friday where she was not required to enter a plea and did not apply for bail.
She was formally remanded in custody to reappear on March 27.
