A man is facing 22 charges, including three counts of supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, after an investigation into methamphetamine supply culminated in a raid on a Port Stephens property.

A man has been charged with 22 offences, including three counts of supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, following a raid on a Port Stephens property.
Hunter region enforcement squad detectives, along with Port Stephens-Hunter officers, attended a property on Wirreanda Rd, Medowie about 11am on Wednesday following an investigation into what police allege was the “commercial supply” of methamphetamine.
Robbie James Bews, 30, was arrested and taken to Raymond Terrace Police Station, where he was later charged with 22 offences.
The charges include 10 counts of supplying an indictable quantity of a prohibited drug, three counts of supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, three counts of supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, three counts of disqualified driving, and one count each of supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, supplying a small quantity of a prohibited drug and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
Bews faced Raymond Terrace Local Court on Thursday, when he was not required to enter pleas and made no application for bail.
He was formally remanded in custody and will reappear in Newcastle Local Court on October 16.
Investigations continue.
