Road fatal Tank St, Morpeth: Van crashes into telegraph pole on Tuesday morning
In a horror few days on Hunter roads, a van driver has been the latest fatality at Morpeth after the vehicle has crashed into a pole.

In a horror few days on Hunter roads, there has been another fatal after a van crashed into a telegraph pole near Maitland early Tuesday morning.
Just after 4.45am, emergency services were called to Tank St, Morpeth, where they found the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle - a 37-year-old man - who died at the scene.
Port Stephens-Hunter Police established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
It comes after a young boy tragically died following a crash in the Upper Hunter on the weekend.
Just before 11am on Saturday, emergency services were called to Flaggs Rd following reports a vehicle had left the roadway and hit a tree, before rolling a number of times.
Paramedics attended and assisted the three occupants, however, one of the passengers – a 10-year-old boy – died at the scene.
The second passenger – a 15-year-old girl – was taken by road to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
The driver – a 46-year-old man – was flown to the same hospital in a critical condition.
Hunter Valley Police are investigating the crash, appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
