Police officer to face Toronto Local Court over domestic assault
A senior constable, 38, was arrested after a two-month investigation. He will face two charges when he fronts Toronto Local Court.

A police officer’s employment status is under review after being charged over an alleged domestic-related incident.
A police statement said an investigation started in November before a male senior constable was issued a court attendance notice for common assault (domestic) and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (domestic) on Wednesday.
The 38-year-old, who is attached to a command in the Northern Region, is due to appear at Toronto Local Court on March 7.
“The officer’s employment status is under review,” the police statement said.
