He believes it may have hit a pothole or something on the road that flicked him off his bike.

“He lived life to the fullest. When you met him you never forgot him,” he said.

“Larger than life character, lived life on the edge.

“You could not have got any more of a loyal person.”

He said he left a lasting legacy in his five children.

“All boys bear a remarkable resemblance to their dad and share many of his endearing traits – they are all beautiful loveable larrikins,” his brother said.

“It helps knowing that he died doing something that he loved.

“However, his boys are already feeling the absence of him in their lives.”

Tributes also flowed online with his father-in-law writing a touching tribute.

“RIP. You were a wild man full of life and love for your family,” Jason Baxter said.

“You were taken too soon and in your prime with a lot more to give.

“I considered you my wild son-in-law and always had a great story to tell every time I saw you. You will be deeply missed mate.”

Mr Prince’s partner also took to social media following the heartbreaking news.

“Life won’t be the same for me and our boys without you here with us. RIP my one and only,” she said.

A GoFundMe page has been set up in aid of Mr Prince’s family and the financial burden following his passing.

“We are aching to ease their burden with money for his funeral, and we would love to also be able to give them a gift in future years in their dad memory to start them on their journey to adulthood,” John Prince wrote.

“Any donations no matter how much will all be greatly appreciated.”

An investigation is ongoing into the cause of the crash.
