Police are working to piece together the final moments before a man was killed in a horror crash in the Hunter Valley.

A man has died in a crash in the Hunter Valley on Monday night.
Emergency crews were called to Myall Creek Rd, Glendon Brook, at about 6pm on Monday after reports of a crash.
Police arrived at the scene and found a Toyota Landcruiser about 30 metres down an embankment.
The vehicle had crashed into a tree.
The 52-year-old driver of the car was found dead inside.
Police established a crime scene and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the crash.
A report has been prepared for the Coroner.
