Motorcyclist dies in crash on Booral Washpool Rd, Stroud
Crash experts have been called in to investigate a two-vehicle crash which has claimed the life of a male motorcyclist, believed to be aged in his 50s, near Dungog.

A motorcyclist has died following a two-vehicle crash on a remote rural road east of Dungog.
Emergency services were called to Booral Washpool Rd, near Stroud, just before 7am on Thursday following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a car.
Port Stephens-Hunter officers arrived and were told a northbound motorcyclist and a southbound silver Holden Captiva collided.
The rider, a man believed to be aged in his 50s, died at the scene.
He has not been formally identified.
The car driver, a 62-year-old woman, was not injured and was taken to Dungog Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene was established and crash investigation unit officers have taken over the investigation.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
