At around 3pm on Thursday, a 78-year-old woman returned to her Laguna home, south west of Cessnock in the Hunter Valley, when she was approached by an unknown man.
It’s alleged 44-year-old Andrew Roy Jones was holding a tomahawk and pushed her before extensively damaging her vehicle with the weapon.
