SEVEN large-sized house and land packages will be released in The New Rouse Hill’s latest development, The Arbour, on Saturday, July 30.

This is the only land release by developers Lendlease, which claims each house will have a layout that displays “clever use of space, with breezy open plan living and seamless indoor and outdoor spaces”.

The seven homes at Bellcast Rd will be sold on a first come first served basis with bookings essential.

Starting prices are $798 000 through to $875,000 for the three to four-bedroom homes, which Lendlease says are aimed at young families.

According to General Manager for Lendlease Communities NSW/ACT, Arthur Ilias, construction hasn’t commenced yet but the planned houses will be unique.

“The houses have a unique and distinct and style with open plan living,” Mr Ilias said.

“These are all land and home packages and will be constructed by one builder.

“This is the last of our releases at The New Rouse Hill project, which has been developed by Lendlease and GPT.

“The lots are situated in an area close to parklands, community facilities and public transport including the new train station.”

The $1.47 billion New Rouse Hill project was begun in September 2007 and is expected to be completed by 2018 when there will be around 4,500 residents in 1800 new dwellings over 122 hectares.

Mr Ilias, who was also behind the development of Jordan Springs in the Penrith LGA, said there has been a lot of interest for the seven house packages.

“This is because it is something fresh and new and also affordable,” Mr Ilias said.

“We expect construction of the houses to begin in around three months after the sale of the properties with the first of the new homes to be ready by March next year.”

“Rather than reflecting the typical tile roof aesthetic of homes in the area, the architect has chosen a distinct design.

“The homes have been designed with young families in mind, helping us to meet demand from homebuyers who are looking to invest in their future.
