The Youth Girls were joined by their families, Hills Shire Mayor Michelle Byrne, AFL NSW/ACT’s Matthew Mack and Novotel Sydney Norwest’s Mark Newey to celebrate the launch of their debut season.

Mack — who is also the U15 team’s namesake — and coaches Jana Webb and Aislinn Millett spoke at the launch, and team members were presented with their new jerseys.

The Hawks has entered an U15 and U18 team in the Western Sydney competition, which will run a girls competition for the first time this year with a total of 10 teams.
