QUAKERS HILL

A 28-year-old provisional licence holder will appear in court next month after she allegedly threw a paver at police. On Saturday, Quakers Hill Highway Patrol officers stopped a VW Sirocco S1R for travelling at 75km/h on a 60km/h section of Railway Terrace, Quakers Hill. As police were speaking to the female driver, it will be alleged she drove off and disobeyed a red light. At the time, it will be alleged the vehicle was detected travelling at 160km/h. After making inquiries, police located the driver at her home where it is alleged she threw a paver at officers. A search of the premises located cannabis and methylamphetamines. The woman was arrested and charged with ‘P2 not comply with high performance vehicle restriction, exceed speed over 45kph, drive manner dangerous, two counts of assault police /resist arrest, two counts of possess prohibited drug and possess implements. Her licence was also suspended. The woman was granted conditional bail and will appear in Blacktown Local Court on June 6.

ROUSE HILL

Kellyville man, 21 and a Beaumont Hills man, 21 were both given cannabis cautions after police allegedly caught them with cannabis on White Hart Drive in Rouse Hill during the early hours of Saturday. A police report said the two men were allegedly caught with the drugs in two separate incidents at 2am and 2.30am. Police were patrolling White Hart Drive when in the first incident they came across three men walking along the street and one of them was carrying a bong. His drugs were seized. Further down the road, police came across another man carrying a bong and he allegedly admitted to having cannabis on him. His drugs were also seized.

KELLYVILLE

A kitchen sink and five bathroom sinks, along with two hammers, a set of screw drivers and a spirit level valued at $1230 were stolen from a home under construction along Mapleton Ave in Kellyville between 5pm on Thursday and 9am on Friday. A police report said an unknown person gained entry by forcing the front door open.

KELLYVILLE

A Kellyville man, 20 was given a cannabis caution after police allegedly found him with a small clear plastic bag containing cannabis at Balcombe Heights Park in Baulkham Hills at 10pm on Thursday.

STANHOPE GARDENS

A mother and daughter were caught allegedly stealing $150 worth of food and bathroom goods from Coles at Stanhope Village last Wednesday. A police report said at 4.35pm two women entered the Coles store and walked down numerous aisles placing items inside a bag and a trolley. They then went to the self service section and did not pay for what was in the bag. The two women were stopped by a loss prevention officer and police were contacted. Once police arrived a Quakers Hill woman, 34 and a Kings Langley woman, 73, were each given a $300 fine for shoplifting.

ROUSE HILL

A Rouse Hill man, 20, on his P2 licence was charged with driving with a mid-range prescribed concentration of alcohol in his blood after a collision with a parked car on Drayton Rd in Castle Hill on Sunday, May 8. A police report said at 5am a red Honda CRX was travelling south on Drayton Rd, Castle Hill when it collided with a parked black Toyota Rav4. Police conducted a roadside breath test on the male driver who returned a positive result. After a breath analysis was done, he returned a reading of 0.106. His licence was suspended and is due to appear at Parramatta Local Court at the end of the month.

RIVERSTONE

A Guildford man, 45, is due to appear at Blacktown Local Court on June 8 for driving a motor vehicle while disqualified. A police report said at 11.35pm on Friday, May 6, police stopped an Isuzu truck on Piccadilly St in Riverstone for a random breath test. Further checks by police revealed the driver had been disqualified from driving until October 16.
