A second Baulkham Hills service station has been held-up in a matter of weeks.

A second Baulkham Hills service station has been held-up in a matter of weeks.

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a service station on Seven Hills Rd last night.

Officers attached to The Hills Local Area Command were called to the service station on Seven Hills Rd at 9.20pm after a man entered the premises and threatened the attendant with a firearm while demanding cash.

He was described as being about 175-185cm tall, of a medium build, and was last seen wearing a black jumper, dark-coloured pants and a balaclava.

He fled the scene a short time later with an amount of cash in a black plastic bag.

No one was injured during the incident.

Local police, with assistance from the Dog Unit and PolAir, conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area; however, the man was not found.

Investigations into the matter are continuing and anyone with information that could assist police is urged to come forward.

On February 16 the Coles Express service station on Century Circuit, Baulkham Hills, near the Norwest Shopping centre, was robbed.

A man armed with a firearm entered the premises at 1.20am, threatened the male employee and demanded cash from the till.

The employee handed over an amount of cash and the man fled the store. He was last seen running down Northwest Boulevard.

The employee wasn’t injured.
