Train services between Bankstown, Campsie disrupted after fatality
A man has died after being struck by a train, with Sydney Trains forced to suspend services in both directions between Bankstown and Campsie during morning peak hour.

Train services have been disrupted between Bankstown and Campsie today after a man was hit during morning peak hour and died on the tracks near Punchbowl station.
The incident occurred about 7.20am, and no details of the man have been released yet.
A Transport Management Centre spokesman confirmed most services were back to normal, with trains resuming on the T3 Bankstown Line between Bankstown and Campsie.
Earlier, buses were organised to replace the trains.
“Buses will continue to supplement train services,” the spokesman said.
“Trains on the T2 Inner West and Leppington and T8 Airport and South lines are also delayed as a result.
“Passengers are advised to allow extra travel time, listen to announcements and check indicator boards as stopping patterns may change.
In a separate incident, there were delays on the Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra line following a medical emergency at Carlton.
