The vastly-experienced sports administrator has been a member of Bankstown Sports’ clubs for many years and said she was delighted at being invited to serve as a director.

“I have had first-hand experience as one of the many volunteers that make sport tick in this country — the sporting club secretary!

“Over the years, the level of support and development that the club has offered and evolved has provided a tier of support that clubs outside this system could only wish for.”

Bankstown Sports said Ms Campbell brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to the club, and has a lot of experience working in the sporting sector.

She began her career as a PE teacher in Western Australia before taking on several government roles in sport and recreation.

She has held the role of CEO for Netball NSW for the past 11 years and is also the secretary for the Norwest Strikers Men’s Hockey Club.
