Thanpaphak Leelapat’s father Pat has no idea where his daughter gets her energy from.

“I don’t know, I just feed her like normal,” he said.

But there must be something keeping the 10-year-old, who trains 18 hours a week, working to perfect her floor, bar, beam and vault routines.

Since she was six, the Greenacre gymnast has lived and breathed her sport, bringing home gold and bronze medals at NSW championship events.

But the young gymnast is a jack of all trades, and surprisingly, a master of all too.

She’s represented her school for dance, softball and soccer.

In athletics she has made regional and zone levels for cross country, and many 100m events. Now Thanpaphak will be sprinting towards national level seven in gymnastics.
